I'm a fairly patient kind of tutor. I don't think that stressful environments are helpful for learning. I like teaching through conversation and with important questions, because it's much quicker and more efficient than spending valuable lesson time writing long answers.

I've been tutoring GCSE English for over two years, so I'm familiar with most of the set texts, especially the Shakespeare and 19th Century novels. If I don't know a work in detail, I'm always willing to discover it in detail alongside a pupil.
