My lessons are usually focused on solving questions and explaining the mathemathical concept underlying the question. I will discussed that homework that students has or go through past year papers (if any) so that my students understand what is required in exams and to excel in their examinations. Lessons are 1 hour long as I believe this is the most suitable duration.

I am a teacher that do not like to do the talking all the time and I always ask my student to try to solve the questions first before going through the working steps and answers together. I believe the most important thing about mathematics is not getting the right answer, but to know the correct way of solving a question. Learning is a dynamic process of interacting with my students rather than conducting a long lecture where I talk all the time and receive no response from student. I am also flexible in my teaching style therefore I will understand the need and level of my students first so that I can customize my class to suit them best. I always tell my student to let me know how they want to learn and feel free to ask me to slow down or speed up, I am here to help you, not to frighten you. I always try to make my class as interactive as possible!

I used to volunteer in a non profit organisation to teach mathematics online during the pandemic. I also have my own mathematics tuition classes. I have been teaching mathematics for more than 3 years for students from different educational backgrounds, ranging from primary school to high school.
