I have a Mechanical Engineering background with a strong foundation in mathematics, analytical thinking and problem-solving. Throughout my studies, I have applied mathematical concepts such as algebra, calculus, geometry, trigonometry, statistics and numerical methods to practical engineering problems. I have also prepared for IB Mathematics AA and AI at both SL and HL levels, along with SAT/ACT-style mathematics.

My teaching philosophy is simple: mathematics becomes easier when students understand the logic behind a concept rather than simply memorising formulas. I aim to break down complicated topics into small, manageable steps and explain them using everyday examples, visual explanations and relatable analogies. My goal is to make even challenging concepts understandable for students who struggle with mathematics.

Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style according to their current ability, learning pace and academic objectives. I begin by identifying areas of difficulty, strengthening fundamental concepts and gradually introducing more challenging problems. I also encourage students to ask questions, make mistakes and learn from them in a supportive environment.

During lessons, I focus on conceptual understanding, guided practice, independent problem-solving and exam-oriented strategies. For students preparing for examinations, I can help improve accuracy, time management and confidence when tackling unfamiliar questions.

I believe that patience, clear communication and consistent practice are essential for academic progress. My aim is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop their logical reasoning, independent thinking and a positive attitude towards mathematics.

I look forward to helping students discover that mathematics can be understandable, practical and enjoyable, regardless of their starting level.
