My lessons are tailored to each student's goals, interests, and learning style. I use a combination of demonstration, guided practice, discussion, and constructive feedback to help students develop their skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Rather than focusing solely on theory, I believe music is best learned through doing. Lessons are therefore practical and interactive, allowing students to build confidence through regular application of what they learn. Depending on the student's interests, lessons may cover singing, songwriting, guitar, piano, performance skills, musical creativity, basic music theory, and artist development.
I break down concepts into manageable steps and adapt the pace of lessons to suit each individual, ensuring students feel challenged without becoming overwhelmed. Alongside technical development, I encourage students to explore their own ideas and creativity, helping them develop confidence in their abilities and artistic voice.
As an active singer-songwriter and performer with experience across the UK and Zimbabwe, I bring real-world musical experience into my teaching. My aim is to make lessons engaging, accessible, and enjoyable while helping students build a strong foundation that supports their long-term musical growth. Whether you're learning for fun, personal development, or a specific goal, lessons are designed to help you progress with confidence.
