I employ goal-oriented teaching. First, I discuss with students their goals such as achieving particular grades or mastering particular skills. Then, we plan together on how to practice to best achieve those goals.

There is a difference between going through the motions of solving a problem versus actually understanding why and when to employ various steps. I will teach you not just the correct answer or the correct solution approach, but also HOW to problem solve and think critically in general.

You do not need to be a genius to ace math. The ONLY prerequisite is attitude. If you can supply a positive learner's mindset of curiosity and grit, I will supply eveything else to guarantee your improvement.
