Kerry Duncan

Kerry was wonderful and she successfully got my son an excellent result. She is patient and makes economics accessible and fun. My son did struggle a bit with the subject until we used Kerry and thoroughly enjoyed his sessions. She struck the perfect balance between being fun and firm. I would have absolutely no reservations in wholeheartedly recommending Kerry to anybody. She went above and beyond.

I began taking weekly lessons with Kerry for my HL IB Econ course, and she helped me practice some of the more difficult content that my teacher was skimming over. She also tailored our sessions to specific topics that I was struggling with, and constantly tested me to ensure I could actively recall them in preparation for my exams. Her immense experience in IB also helped keep focus on curriculum-specific themes, and she always ensured this was present in all our sessions (mainly in discussions of real-world examples and how these were tied into many relevant economic concepts). She truly boosted my confidence in economics and undoubtedly helped me achieve my final grade (6) by the end.

The lessons were really great as they were concise and taught in a manner by which was easy to understand with each concept being broken down and explained clearely. Furthermore, the lessons were more about understanding and being able to apply the concept rather than simply memorizing. Definitely would recommend as it helped me reach the grades I wished to achieve.
