I love engaging with students and I am able to make quick connections that make for a great learning environment. I like to ask the learner questions about the subject, like what they feel like they have a mastery of and what areas of the subject the are not understanding. I think that for university students, asking them why they are interested in the particular subject is important. If they have a psychology class, I would ask to see the class syllabus and we can focus on the foundational blocks that will help them to understand the class. I love the study of humans and dhow they function which is why I enjoy teaching/tutoring those who are newer to the subject of psychology.
