Hello! I am a first-year Economics student at University College London (UCL), offering friendly and results-focused online tutoring in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Economics for IGCSE and A Level students.

My academic background: I completed my A Levels at SSFBC, The High School Affiliated to Shaanxi Normal University, in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Economics. I qualified for the AIME through the AMC 12 (top 10% nationwide), earned a Distinction in the Euclid Contest, and won Gold in both the UKMT Senior and Intermediate Mathematical Challenges. In economics, I was first author of a research paper on digital finance and consumption, accepted for publication in the ICIFDE 2025 Conference Proceedings, and I received a Commendation in the John Locke Essay Competition.

My teaching approach: I have developed a distinctive way of learning that helps me absorb new material quickly and remember it deeply. Because I understand exactly how I learn, I can show students how to study efficiently, rather than just giving them answers.

What my lessons look like:
- All lessons are held online through video call, with a shared digital whiteboard for working through problems step by step.
- We begin by identifying your strengths, gaps and goals.
- Complex topics are broken down into clear, manageable steps.
- We practise with exam-style questions and go through mark schemes, so you learn what examiners are looking for.
- For Economics, I focus on building well-structured arguments and essay technique, as well as diagrams and data analysis.
- Lessons are adapted to your pace and learning style, and I am always patient with questions.

My aim is to help you build solid fundamentals, strong exam technique and real confidence, not only to improve your grades but to make the subjects more enjoyable. Whether you are catching up, aiming for top grades or preparing for university, I would be happy to help.
