Keerthi Sudhakar Vasishta

I am an experienced University Teacher in English Literature. With a PhD in English Literature, I am well suited to offer tutoring to all levels of students in the subject, particularly GCSE (or equivalent), A-Level (or equivalent) and University.

I believe in listening to the student to best understand their needs while building an atmosphere to enable them to question and think critically, while being challenged to improve their work. I am willing to tailor lessons based on student need and provide each student the best possible chance to succeed. My teaching philosophy is embedded in enabling students to build self-reliance, critical thinking and confidence in their work.

I am also interested in working with pupils at higher KS levels and can work on work with students to enable them to achieve their potential in the subject. At GCSE and A-Levels, I can also teach History and other related Humanities subjects.

I am also an experienced Private Language Instructor in Business English, General English and Hindi having taught clients from the USA, UK, Germany, Australia and Brazil. I have worked with Corporate clients, adults and children in my role as a Language Instructor. I work both with individuals and groups and am open to discussing group and block bookings with Companies and Corporate clients.

I am flexible and available to teaching on week-nights, weekends and early mornings (UK time). I usually teach online, however I would be willing to commute if the student is local and wishes to arrange in-person lessons.
