Hello! I am a native Korean speaker based in Birmingham, offering friendly and practical Korean lessons both online and in person.

My lessons are suitable for complete beginners, beginners and intermediate learners. Whether you want to learn Hangul for the first time, improve your pronunciation, understand Korean grammar, practise everyday conversation, or prepare for a trip to Korea, I will adapt each lesson to your personal goals and learning pace.

For complete beginners, we can start with the Korean alphabet, basic pronunciation, sentence structure and useful everyday expressions. For students who already have some knowledge of Korean, lessons can focus on speaking more naturally, expanding vocabulary, correcting grammar and building confidence through conversation.

Each lesson may include short dialogues, reading practice, pronunciation correction, vocabulary exercises, grammar explanations and real-life conversation activities. I can also use topics that interest you, such as Korean food, travel, daily life, music, films or culture, to make the lessons more enjoyable and relevant.

I understand that learning a new language can feel difficult, so I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I will explain Korean expressions clearly in English when necessary and repeat or review topics until you feel confident.

My professional background includes finance, administration and customer service. These experiences have helped me become organised, reliable, patient and clear when communicating information.

Lessons will be structured but flexible, and I will adjust the content depending on your progress. My goal is to help you use Korean confidently and naturally while enjoying the learning process. Complete beginners are very welcome!
