My GCSE Maths tutoring lessons are personalised and focused on helping each student build confidence, improve their understanding, and achieve their target grades. Lessons are held online via video call and typically last one hour.

I use a physical whiteboard during sessions, which allows me to explain concepts clearly and visually, just like in a classroom setting. Students can watch as I work through examples step by step in real time, and they are encouraged to ask questions at any point.

Each lesson begins with a short recap of previous topics to reinforce learning, followed by a focus on new material tailored to the student’s needs. I use a wide range of resources, including exam-style questions and past papers, to strengthen both subject knowledge and exam technique.
Students are regularly challenged to solve problems themselves and explain their reasoning—this helps to identify gaps in understanding and build stronger problem-solving skills.
My teaching approach is patient, encouraging, and adaptable to different learning styles. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and asking for help. This not only improves their Maths skills but also boosts their overall confidence in the subject.
