I have been tutoring for 8 years, focussing on English, Maths and Science. I am currently studying for a PhD in English Literature, but I also have A-Levels in Maths and Physics. I tutor students primarily between the ages of 13 and 18 with all of my tutees attaining or surpassing their target grades in their GCSEs and A-levels. I appreciate that learning can be challenging, so as a tutor I ensure I am patient and helpful in helping students achieve their learning goals.

Tutoring is all about ensuring that learning is fun and engaging for the student whilst they progress through their studies. Sessions are typically an hour in length and I spend that time focussing on the specific needs and goals of each student. For the past 8 years that I have been tutoring, I have used content revision, question workbooks and quizzes to tailor each session to the individual. When preparing for exams, past papers and knowledge checks will be essential in boosting confidence. Having the appropriate qualifications, I primarily tutor English (GCSE, A-level and undergraduate), Maths (GCSE) and Science (GCSE). However, sessions can be tailored to specifics skillsets and subjects if needed.
