What My Interior Design Lessons Are Like -
Whether you're a current design student, preparing to apply to university, or simply exploring your passion for interiors, my lessons are structured to be personalised, practical, and professionally focused.
Typical Lesson Format -
Each session typically lasts 60 minutes and is delivered online via Zoom, Teams or Google Meet for flexibility and convenience. Sessions are one-to-one, allowing us to focus entirely on your needs, skill level, and design goals.
Typical Lesson structure:
Check-in & Goal Setting (5–10 mins)
We start by discussing your progress, any questions or struggles you have, and the objectives for that session.
Project/Skill Focus (30–40 mins)
Depending on what you need support with, we might:
- Review your university project or portfolio
- Work through a design brief or assignment
- Develop a concept, moodboard, or space plan
- Practice CAD software (AutoCAD, SketchUp), Photoshop, or layout in InDesign
- Explore design principles, materials, or sustainability approaches
Feedback & Problem-Solving (10–15 mins)
You’ll receive clear, constructive feedback based on both academic standards and industry practice. I’ll help you overcome design challenges and strengthen your critical thinking.
Wrap-Up & Next Steps (5 mins)
We’ll finish with a quick summary and suggestions for how to move forward before the next session.
