If it is a new student, the first 5-10 minutes would be spent on getting to know each other, breaking the ice, and diving into the strengths and weaknesses of the child in the subject. If it is a recurring student, the first 5-10 minutes will be about the previous lesson, any homework I had assigned to the student, or any doubts they may face in the topic. This will be followed by a brief introduction to the topic I would teach in that session, including real-life examples to illustrate the importance of the topic in our daily lives, so the student finds it more interesting to study. Next, we'll go through some solved examples, highlighting every important part of the question and tips on how to approach the question. I'll give them some exercises ranging from easy to difficult and they'll solve these in the class. We'll go over the worked solutions to the questions. And in the last few minutes, I'll tell them about our next lesson, and assign some questions for homework.
