My lessons are personalised, structured and engaging, with a particular focus on adult learners and professionals who want to use Russian more confidently in real-life situations. I can help with conversational Russian, grammar, vocabulary, reading and writing, but also with more advanced goals: sounding more natural, understanding nuance, improving written communication, and using Russian in a professional or cross-cultural context. I am also open to corporate teaching and can support companies or individual professionals who need Russian for work, relocation, partnership communication, client-facing situations, interviews, presentations, or everyday workplace interaction.

My background is in journalism, editing and content production, so language is not just something I teach — it is something I work with professionally every day. I have written and edited for media including Cosmopolitan, Grazia, Good Housekeeping, Forbes (and many more), and have worked across communications for international companies and projects. This means I can help students not only with grammar and vocabulary, but also with tone, clarity, style and expressing themselves in a more polished and effective way.

Alongside editorial and commercial work, I also have experience in educational and cultural projects, including Goethe-Institut, libraries, youth-focused initiatives and community programmes. I also work professionally across Russian and English through interpreting and language support with Premium Linguistic Services in London.

My lessons usually combine speaking practice, guided reading, grammar in context, vocabulary building and writing support where needed. I’m warm, approachable and supportive, but I also believe in structure, discipline and steady progress — that’s the way to learn the language.
