My lessons are relaxed, engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. I like to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their confidence.

For English lessons, we can focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, pronunciation, conversation and general communication skills. I adapt the content and pace depending on the student’s current level and what they would most like to improve. Lessons can combine structured exercises with discussion, games, creative activities and practical examples to keep learning varied and engaging.

For LAMDA lessons, sessions are practical and performance-focused. We can work on choosing and preparing material, characterisation, voice and diction, physicality, confidence and audition or examination technique. I use exercises drawn from my professional actor training to help students understand not only *what* they are performing, but *why* they are making particular choices. We will also review the interview questions the examiners may ask post-performance.

Drama lessons function very similarly to LAMDA Lessons, but are more focused and rigorous. I ask that you’ve had some experience with drama, or at least a basic understanding of the commitment to the materials and need for practice time outside of our lesssons.

I have experience working with children and people across different ages and abilities, and I understand that every student learns differently. I aim to meet students where they are, while gradually encouraging them to become more independent, confident and curious learners. Whether preparing for an exam, drama school auditions, or simply developing communication and performance skills, I want students to leave each lesson feeling that they have learned something useful and had fun doing it.
