Thank you for taking the time to look over my profile! I am probably not the right trainer for you if you are seeking a regimented, grammatically correct, and politically correct tutor. My name is Karsten Avogo, and I have a degree in biological sciences. I believe that humour, storytelling, and examples are the best ways to learn. I'd like to learn about your culture and life, as well as share my own. I'd like you to be a student as well as a buddy. I have been a teacher for about 3 years, and I usually teach young adults and teenagers, but everyone is welcome. If you are interested in learning through conversation, laughter, and fun, I am the instructor for you.

If you don't enjoy the journey, it doesn't make sense.

Learning a language is just like any other thing in life: it's not only about reaching your goal but relishing the process.

Science has proved that when we are in a relaxed state, learning happens much faster. The aim of my classes is to put you at ease and make you forget you are studying. This way, you will notice how fast you can retain information and progress your skills to a higher level.

Having a laugh while focusing on our class will make sure you are going to love every single second of your lesson.

Studying Spanish for the past year has taught me that confidence is fundamental when we are learning a language. During my classes, we will focus on building your confidence when using advanced vocabulary, tricky grammar structures and other areas of improvement such as fluency, pronunciation and intonation. I am extremely patient and always provide corrections and feedback but in a polite and considerate manner. I will encourage you to go above and beyond what you expected whilst still feeling comfortable and motivated.
