Karen Anderson

Im Karen I was educated at Methodist College in Belfast passing 10 GCSEs with 6 A and 4 B grades.
I also did 3 A Levels English Literature Divinity and Biology winning 2nd place in the country in Divinity. I studied Law and English Cultural Studies at Nottingham university the worked as a TV Producer for a live arts show on Channel 4. I now live in Turkey where I taught English at the University in Izmir I also worked in Film production writing and translation scripts in English and produced and presented documentaries . I am now retired but continue to teach privately and am writing books for children. I love to use drama and lively role play to help my students focus and enjoy their lessons. I also pay attention to helping students express themselves clearly and with the best accent possible. I have formed courses for business owners to help them achieve their best results with English speaking customers and foreign markets. I am friendly and open minded to other cultures as I have lived in foreign countries for half my life. I look forward to meeting new students and working to help them in their English needs. My other hobbies are horse riding and latin dancing and I love to paint pictures which I sometimes use in my teaching classes. My aim is to encourage all students to be confused,dent and have fun while learning. Everybody is able to learn with the right teacher. Welcome to the world of English!
