I’m an experienced tutor who focuses on making difficult topics feel simple, approachable, and genuinely understandable. My lessons usually begin with a clear explanation of the content, breaking everything down in a way that fits the student’s learning style. I then move into worked examples so they can see exactly how to apply each concept in a real exam-style setting. I adapt my pace depending on how quickly the student grasps the material, making sure they never feel rushed or left behind.
A major part of my teaching involves past-paper practice, including challenging or locked papers that give students exposure to the full range of possible questions. We go through these carefully, identify patterns that appear year after year, and study how examiners award marks. This helps students understand not just what the answer is, but why it earns the marks it does. Over time, this builds confidence, accuracy, and familiarity with the exam format.
I also place a strong emphasis on time management, which is often the difference between a good grade and a great one. Many students know the content but struggle with pacing, so we work on realistic timing strategies, question prioritisation, and maintaining focus under pressure. I teach them how to approach longer papers more strategically and how to avoid getting stuck on difficult questions.
My tutoring style is friendly, patient, and encouraging. I want students to feel comfortable asking any question, no matter how small. I help them build strong study habits, develop confidence in their abilities, and see consistent improvement in both understanding and exam results. My goal is to support each student in becoming more independent, more efficient, and ultimately more successful in their subject.
