In my lessons You will be exposed to the most fundamental and important concepts required, no fluff!
My focus is on attaining the quickest results without over confusing the subjects at hand with excess information.

I like to allow my students to lead with their own creativity and judgement whilst offering experienced nudges in the right direction, think like going bowling with the bumpers on, i wont throw the ball but ill help you hit some pins!

that being said, due to my years of experience developing games I can answer any technical questions you may have along the way, whilst introducing complex technical concepts in a digestible simple way. I am not a fan of over complicating things!

typically, my lessons will start with us talking about our goals for the lesson, how we might approach achieving those goals and any design considerations to make. At this point I will also make you aware of any learning concepts we may encounter whilst implementing our features.

In terms of pure content, depending on your level of artistic/programming/mathematical ability you can choose from one of a few genres of game with me. we can make a simple escape room, a endless running game, a survival horror game or a target shooting game.

the course is mostly focused on programming, but if you are interested in 3d art also we can take some detours to make some very simple props in blender3D.

I can guarantee, no matter how many lessons you have with me, you will be learning a bucket load every time! whether its art, game design or programming. hope you have a good day - Kane.
