Studying with me is like getting your own answer book! If you need help with an essay, I will give you guidance on how to properly structure your work, if your not sure if what you have written I'll guide you in the direction to improve it no matter what! There is always room for improvement! If you need more explanation on your topic of any kind I can give that to you. I can help in a variety of subjects. I am a BSc First Class Honours Health and Social Care graduate. My studies have covered a wide range of topics including psychology, sociology, public health, education, urban/global health, contemporary health issues and more! If you think it has a relevance to Health care or Social Care or both I can help!

I am a very friendly person and have lots of experience in tutoring. During my time at university I spent a whole year employed by my university tutoring students 1:1 and assisting my lecturers in developing and delivering lecturers. I also was responsible for managing a project where I was responsible for 150 students to produce accurate copies of the Health Care Certificate for a university placement. This included assessing, delegating, motivating, advising, conflict solving, leading, organizing, operational control, co-ordinating, reporting and communicating with students on daily basis.

I use a personalised format of tutoring, where you tell me what you need help with and I focus on that. The first session is always about getting to know where you are with your knowledge, skills and experience. I then discuss your difficulties with you and whether you think it will be beneficial. From there on I create sessions where we focus on improving coursework technique, exam technique and retaining information practice. During each session we have a review of how the sessions have helped since the last time we met. I base my sessions on the level of study you require as well and advise what books or additional material could help you. I make my sessions creative and encourage "out of the box" thinking and help you with your analysing abilities. In every session I will add a practical task to ensure understanding has been delivered, this could be in the form of a simple case study or a simple untimed multiple choice test. Then to end the session we go through the practical task together. I will only provide feedback, never mark my students as I believe that a mark doesn't help students improve it lets students stay comfortable.
