I generally teach students by giving real life examples which helps them in building a very strong concept which they can use in all the problems related to the topic. Moreover for subjects like algebra and trigonometry I have a unique method for making them understand the basics, because for these subjects students need a very strong concept for understanding the problem, and they first need to understand the problem and then think about solution. Maths requires alot of practice and if that is not done regularly then it becomes very difficult to solve even the most basic problem.
For example it is really important for a student to remember the standard trigonometric ratio values like tan 45 is 1, I help students with a basic way to remember all standard trigonometric ratios, without taxing the brain with formulas. Helping the students with concepts, tricks, shortcuts is my way of teaching. Being an engineering student I understand the importance of Maths as a subject and I also understand how important it is for the overall development of the child. Maths is part and partial of life so it is to be treated as a friend and not only as a subject. Understanding the subject from the basics helps in building strong concepts and also gives multiple career opportunities. It helps in various fields of life so maths as a subject is very vital and it helps to improve the problem solving and analytical thinking capacity of students. I always encourage my students to think about more than one solution for any particular problem so that they can find the best solution by themselves.
