I studied Health and Social Care in high school and college. I Have also studied an access course in psychology. I am currently a student studying counselling and mental health at Leeds Beckett University. During my second semester of my second year at university, I studied coaching. This will allow me to use models such as the grow model in order to help facilitate change and growth within students. I hope to undergo a Masters in integrated counselling. I am visually impaired with no sight but this allows me to promote an inclusive practice. To access all written material i use my Iphone, braille note or Mac book. I can tailor the content to meet the students needs.. this means I can provide a directive approach if necessary and can advise students on resources and other ways to support themselves. I have good active listening skills. I can work well in teams and have good communication skills. During sessions, we will work to establish a goal and explore solutions to reach set goals. I can support tstudents in essay writing and can provide feedback. If at any point something is not working, I appreciate any feedback. Sessions will take place on Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
