I have 6 years teaching as a Mathematics teacher from year 7-12. I want students to see how powerful maths can be and I want them to experience success in maths.

Concerning lessons, I prefer receiving information from a student before every lesson such that the lesson can progress smoothly: which topic do you want to look at, what type of exercises have you done in class (photos/documents will be handy), do have a copy of your test paper(s), etc. Tutoring is teamwork, and for tutoring to excel communication is key.

For the lessons, I will guide the student through the topic and work with the student through exercises. I like asking students questions about theory, and I will ask questions while we work through exercises.
