Juliet Anthony

I am a first year Cambridge University undergraduate studying History and Politics. I achieved 4 A*s last year in A-level history, politics, economics and maths. I also achieved 11 Grade 9s at GCSE including maths, sciences, english and further maths. I am able and willing to tutor in any of those subjects. I have experience tutoring GCSE maths, further maths and physics as well as for 16+ school entrance exams. I tailor lessons based on the individual as I understand everyone learns in different ways and understands varying formats of lesson differently. I will focus on subjects that the student is struggling with as well as consolidating those they have almost mastered. I will tutor online as I am currently at university but I still create engaging lesson plans which keep students enjoying their subjects while learning more than in a school lesson. I hope, as someone who recently sat these exams I am less intimidating than an older tutor! This also means I have recent experience of sitting those exams; I understand the format of the exams, what examiners are looking for and how to achieve top grades without burning out or losing enjoyment in the subject. I am also happy to tutor students for 11+ exams and have experience teaching non-verbal and verbal reasoning.
