The format and content will be adapted to the student. I would suggest a platform such as Microsoft Teams or What's App where screens and documents can be shared etc. We would also make use of any curriculum materials such as CCEA past papers for A level or GCSE French. I have experience at both levels.
I also offer services in teaching English as a foreign language to either Business students who require it for their jobs or more general. I have 10 years experience in this field with international students from all over the world. I really enjoy seeing the students progress and become more confident.
I have a life-long passion for languages and have studied Linguistics to Masters level. I feel the 1:1 tutoring dynamic works well and give the student the individual focus they require. Every student is different and that variety is what makes the job interesting. If it is at all geographically possible I would come to the student's home
Seeing students realize they can communicate in a foreign language gives me and them a real sense of satisfaction.
I try to make the lessons relaxed and fun and the development of the relationship with the individual student is key.
I am flexible and can adapt easily to the requirements of each student and I see the learning journey very much as a two way street of discussion to make sure all needs are being met.
I hope my passion comes across and it is genuine.
