I am fun, outgoing, professional and flexible! Working closely on your needs, I support and encourage you to attempt tasks independently giving guidance as necessary. I use a wide variety of techniques to keep engagement high, keeping my pace brisk and not boring! I enjoy using games and more interactive activities to consolidate key skills, repeating and revisiting core concepts regularly. I am very responsive to each learner and constantly adapt my teaching to enable the best outcomes.
My background is mostly in Primary Education where I have taught across the age ranges from 5-11. I have experience of preparing children for SATs, both as a class teacher and as a booster tutor targeting those pupils who are at grade boundary borderlines. I have successfully tutored GCSE Maths, achieving the required grades in a short period of time through focussed tuition, practice and confidence building.
