About me

I have a lot of patience and believe in positive reinforcement. Encouraging students to ask questions to aid their learning is vitally important as is saying when they do not understand. I will always go over topics when needed. Lesson are flexible and open so things can change quickly when needed. I always leave students with work to do when I am not there so I can spend the whole hour teaching...
I have a lot of patience and believe in positive reinforcement. Encouraging students to ask questions to aid their learning is vitally important as is saying when they do not understand. I will always go over topics when needed. Lesson are flexible and open so things can change quickly when needed. I always leave students with work to do when I am not there so I can spend the whole hour teaching rather then watching students doing an exercise, I then go through the work the following week.

Judy helped our daughter who needed some support with her GCSE maths. Judy was always kind and patient. Our daughter achieved 1 grade higher than she had hoped for, so we were very thankful for Judy’s time and commitment to support her.

Just was an amazing tutor! She adapted her learning styles based on my daughter’s specific needs and capabilities. Judy gave my daughter the gift of confidence which I really believe helped her to pass maths. I would and do recommend Judy to others, she’s the best!!!

We couldn’t be happier with the support our son received from Judy. In just four months of tutoring, she helped increase his GCSE Maths grade from a 4 to a solid 7 — an incredible improvement. More importantly, he went into his exams feeling confident and well prepared, which made such a difference. Judy clearly has a wealth of experience working with teenagers and has a fantastic ability to engage with them, build their confidence and explain things in a way that makes sense to them. She was patient, encouraging and really understood how to get the best out of our son.
