The first concept I always want to make my students to understand is that to learn a language it is a path that it never ends, so with this in mind I eliminate all the pressure of dead lines to understand the language at certain levels and at certain time.

Do not worry too much and enjoy the path. Let the embarrassing away and let's make something nice and comfortable to you.

If you enjoy, you learn. So let's enjoy in this amazing journey that is to understand other people in a language that is not your first language. When you realise that, the world changes.

Take notes, listen podcasts or music, watch movies in original version of the language you want to learn and you will see that your mind is making a click to understand everytime more and more.

And the best to do that is with someone that already did that before you. He will have all the tricks and methods to make your path much more easier and enjoyable.

With an open mind and a different approach you will be able to understand (first step) and then start talking (second step) in English. And as more you understand by listening and watching and looking other people talk you will start feeling that the fear and embarrassing goes away and that all will be replaced by joy, excitement and hunger for more. Well done, that means that you did it, you broke the barrier between a new language and your preconceptions of that language.
