I have excellent skills in policy and curriculum development. I have extensive experience in secondary education in Mathematics and Accounting and have a sound understanding of child development in education and the ability to engage and challenge students in learning with the use of technology in the teaching process. The need for providing well-balanced student-centered education is allied with a hands-on approach to learning where possible. I have excellent interpersonal and resolution skills with parents, students, external education authorities, and internal personnel. With the ability to work autonomously at a professional level with a positive attitude and be creative, energetic, reliable, and able to communicate well. I am innovative, enthusiastic, flexible, and competent, and able to create lessons to suit different learners.
For online lessons, I use Zoom and Onenote where applicable to have all lessons in one place. My lessons are well planned and sequenced to make a good learning experience and also to go back on previous lessons to review. I use videos where applicable to consolidate concepts and use examples for practical questions. The examples and step-by-step and very structured that is easy to follow.
I encourage questioning as it helps a better understanding of the concepts taught and I also give regular quizzes to consolidate learning. In addition, I use discussion techniques on topics where applicable and brainstorm existing knowledge to build upon it. I use rhetorical questioning techniques as well to enquire about what concepts need to be reviewed and strengthened. My lessons and fun and engaging.
