Hi,
I'm a fully qualified secondary school science teacher with over 12 years experience, currently working in a high achieving school in West Berkshire. I specialise in Biology up to KS5 and lead KS3 science.
Alongside teaching, I've supported a number of students through GCSE Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), helping them build confidence, improve exam technique and achieve stronger results.

I have experience teaching across different exam boards, including AQA and international specifications, and have also marked for AQA. This means I understand exactly what examiners are looking for and how students can pick up marks more effectively.

I also spent three years teaching in the UAE, including delivering lessons remotely during COVID. This has given me strong experience in online teaching, allowing me to run engaging, well structured sessions that work just as effectively as in the classroom.

I offer friendly, focussed sessions for KS3 and GCSE students, with an emphasis on clear explanations, exam technique, building confidence quickly and access to the most recent exam materials and resources. Each lesson begins with a short warm up to recap key knowledge, followed by targeted exam practice tailored to each student's area's of weakness. I then focus on confidence building exercises to reinforce learning and help students feel prepared and capable. Every session is structured, engaging and designed to maximise exam performance.
