My lessons are designed to be engaging, structured, and completely tailored to each student’s needs. I start by getting to know the student’s goals, current level of understanding, and preferred learning style. This allows me to create a personalised plan that focuses on building confidence as well as improving knowledge.

A typical lesson often begins with a short recap of previous material to reinforce learning, followed by introducing new concepts in manageable steps. I use clear explanations, worked examples, and interactive practice, encouraging students to ask questions and actively participate. For younger students, I incorporate games, visual aids, and storytelling to keep lessons fun and engaging. For older students, I focus on problem-solving techniques, exam strategies, and developing independent study skills, as well as mentoring for professional gal setting.

I have experience working with a wide range of ages, from primary through secondary school, and I’ve also supported students with learning difficulties. This has taught me to adapt my approach so lessons remain accessible, encouraging, and paced appropriately for each learner. Alongside my teaching, I have also undergone extensive child safety and safeguarding training, so parents can feel reassured that lessons will be safe, supportive, and professional.

Above all, my aim is to make lessons enjoyable, confidence-building, and safe — helping every student to not only improve academically but also develop a positive attitude towards learning that lasts.
