My lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit their strengths, areas for improvement, and learning preferences. Whether you’re aiming to improve your confidence, prepare for GCSE or A-Level exams, or simply develop a better understanding of Geography, I will create a structured plan to help you achieve your goals.

As a qualified Geography teacher with a PGDE from the University of Edinburgh, I have experience teaching students of a wide range of abilities in both classroom and one-to-one settings. I also have experience as a Head of Geography, where I developed schemes of work, monitored student progress, and used data to improve outcomes. Alongside teaching, I have spent several years coaching individuals and teams, giving me extensive experience in motivating learners, building confidence, and helping people perform at their best.

My lessons typically begin with a review of previous learning before introducing new content in a clear and accessible way. I use a variety of teaching methods, including diagrams, maps, case studies, exam-style questions, and interactive discussions to keep lessons interesting and ensure students fully understand each topic. We will regularly practise exam technique, work through past paper questions, and identify areas that need further attention so you feel fully prepared for assessments.

I pride myself on creating a relaxed and positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I understand that confidence is often just as important as knowledge when it comes to achieving success, and I work hard to ensure every student leaves each lesson feeling more capable than when they arrived.

My aim is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop a genuine interest in Geography and equip them with the skills and confidence to succeed both in exams and beyond.
