Josephine Harris

My teaching style is very personal, I want to understand how you learn best and what you want to focus on, so I can tailor our lessons to help you excel. I can also provide worksheets and practice questions based on your needs, and am perfectly happy to mark or go through past questions. Lessons can be as long or as short as you need, and take any format you like. I am also happy to mark papers and identify things you need to work on for you, and then structure lessons and questions to turn your weaknesses into strengths. I believe that in maths you only need the right teacher to succeed, and I attempt to break down concepts to their fundamentals so that you can understand them. As a student myself, I can also come up with useful memory techniques and ways of deriving or understanding concepts so that when you need to reach for them in an exam you won’t have any doubts. I am also happy if you want to send questions or concerns outside of lesson times, and can either answer them via email or in person at our next lesson. I am very passionate about maths, and hope to use my passion to help you improve your grades and sail easily through your GCSE. I am comfortable with all exam boards, and am also comfortable with the various further maths GCSEs that you may also need help with. Just drop me a message if you’re struggling!
