I have a BA in Japanese Studies from Oxford University and have significant experience both tutoring 1-to-1 and working as a teaching assistant in secondary education. Whether you’re already a kanji master or you’re just getting started with hiragana, I’ll help you conquer whatever obstacles you face on your Japanese learning journey!

I teach exclusively online. I offer two types of lesson:
- Grammar lessons, using the Minna no Nihongo textbooks. We will start from whatever point is suitable for your level. I am very responsive to feedback, so we can go at whatever pace you wish.
- Conversation lessons. Discuss whatever you want to talk about! These are not based on any textbook.
