It's great to meet you all. As a language instructor, I specialize in teaching Korean grammar, both formal and informal conversations. My diverse background, having lived in Ireland, Australia, and now in the UK, has given me the opportunity to teach Korean and share its rich culture with students from various backgrounds.

I tailor my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student, recognizing that foreign language learning can be a challenging task that requires patience and courage. However, it can also be one of the most rewarding challenges you can take on.

Throughout my teaching career, I have seen many of my students surpass their initial language learning goals with my guidance. With my personalized approach to teaching, I am confident that you too can achieve your language learning objectives.

I have been fortunate enough to teach Korean to over 100 students during my time in Europe and Australia. This experience has enabled me to develop a variety of teaching methods that cater to different learning styles. Additionally, I have created comprehensive notes that have significantly enhanced my students' learning outcomes. I consistently review and update my materials and techniques to ensure that my students are satisfied with my approach.

I am thrilled to report that one of my Preply students was able to master speaking, reading, and constructing Korean sentences in a mere three months of studying with me. My approach is tailored to assist you in achieving and even surpassing your learning objectives.

Joo is a fantastic tutor, and I feel confident that she can get me to the level of Korean that I'm striving for. She quickly adapted to my knowledge of Korean in our first session, and subsequently the lesson plans have been well structured, utilising an equal amount of speaking practice and grammar study which was important to me when looking for a tutor. Joo is personable, well-spoken, and knowledgeable, and I always have a great time during our lessons, ending with the feeling that I've learnt something new.

Joo was able to quickly ascertain my language proficiency in our first lesson and easily moved through the lesson content at an adapted pace that suited me. Joo was encouraging, but also clearly communicated corrections, explanations and has an obvious mastery of Korean language foundations. I was very appreciative of her open minded approach to how, what and the speed with which I wanted to learn and has been a great communicator about how lessons are planned with supplied materials/is well structured. I feel really good about choosing Joo as a tutor and am very optimistic about reaching my goals with learning Korean. Let's gooooo!
