I try to make my lessons as interactive as possible to give the student the chance to produce the target language as quickly as possible. The emphasis is normally on communication and comprehension, so a lot of speaking and listening activities with pronunciation work as well. The aim will be to get the student to produce the various grammar structures as quickly as possible and also to help them to expand their vocabulary. However, if the student has any particular needs or requests I have no problem satisfying them. For example, if the student wants to work on a particular grammar topic or on how to write a work email that will not be a problem. The lessons are adapted to the individual needs of each student. I have nearly 18 years experience of teaching English as a foreign language and I have taught all levels from A1 to C2 and a variety of different courses. I have experience in teaching general English, conversation, business English and also preparation for exams such as IELTS and TOEFL. I have also taught all ages from children and teenagers up to adults. I also think it is important to make the lessons as enjoyable as possible so that the student have a pleasant experience and maybe even not want the lesson to end! In my 18 years as a teacher I have helped thousands of students to reach their goals and grow in confidence in the English language. I am looking forward to helping you on your English journey.
