Jon Hart

Music has been at the centre of my life for more than 18 years. During that time I have taught thousands of students of different ages and abilities, always tailoring lessons to the individual. I hold a BA Hons in Music and I am also a multi-award-winning guitarist, songwriter and performer with six albums and three UK tours.

My lessons are creative, practical and supportive. I offer tuition in guitar, voice, beginner piano, music theory and rhythm through beatboxing (vocal drums). I enjoy helping students explore both the technical side of music and the expressive side, whether that means learning chords and scales, developing a strong sense of rhythm, or building the confidence to perform a favourite song.

Lessons are delivered online, which makes it easy for teenagers and adults to learn from the comfort of their own home. I use video calls, digital resources and step-by-step guidance so that every student has a clear path forward. I also bring in real-world experience from my work as a professional musician to make lessons engaging and relevant.

A big part of my approach is making music education accessible. I have developed a neurodivergent-friendly style that focuses on patience, encouragement and adapting to different ways of learning. Every student should feel safe to make mistakes, experiment and grow.
