I use a variety of interactive materials to keep lessons interesting and practical, including lots of fun conversation, video-based listening activities, gap-fill exercises, grammar and vocabulary tasks and reading activities. I also use real-world topics and situations so that students can practise English they will actually use outside the classroom.

Lessons can focus on General English, grammar, speaking and pronunciation, IELTS preparation or Business English. For Business English, we can practise real situations such as meetings, interviews, presentations, emails and workplace communication.

For IELTS students, I provide focused Speaking and Writing practice, feedback, exam strategies, natural expressions and help with grammar and vocabulary for improving band scores.

For all students, I provide written feedback and lesson notes after each lesson, including corrections and useful points on vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.

Homework is also happily included if you would like extra practice between lessons, and I can adapt it to your level and goals.

Above all, I want lessons to be enjoyable. There is plenty of conversation and opportunity to speak, while still having the structure and feedback needed to make real progress.
