About me

My lessons don't have a singular format, that is tailored to each student's individaul needs. My lessons don't have a singular format, that is tailored to each student's individaul needs. There are however things that are always needed like breaking up of tasks, so it's not all just one thing for the whole lessons, alternating between the session being teacher-led and student-led, having some kind of extra work that can be done by the student outside the lesson if they want to push themselves and having the chance for the student to ask questions about the content covered without worrying about being judged for doing so.

I have tutored in Oxbridge admissions for over 3 years, and have been tutoring in Economics for the last year. I have also been teaching Economics and Maths full time at The King's School Canterbury. Here I have a wide range of roles including being the subject mentor for all students at the school applying for Economics or Finance at University.

I also completed a Bacherlor of Arts in Economics and Management at Oxford University, graduating with the Environmental Economics Project Prize for the highest grade in my cohort. From September 2026 I will be returning to Oxford for an MPhil in Economics, with a goal to pursue a PhD on its completion.

The main defining aspects of my teaching and my tutoring alike are that it's adaptive, and it's calm. I'm not a strict teacher, my goal isn't to force people to do work, that only works in the short run. My goal is to help students to succeed, not to force them to. Yes, this involves giving them work to do, and helping, all the normal stuff. But it also involves making it fun, relating it to the real world.
