Every student gets stuck sometimes. My job is to help them understand what to do next, build confidence, and keep moving until the work is finished.
Lessons are one-to-one, online, and tailored to each student's needs. Rather than simply explaining content, I teach students how to approach complex assignments, organise their thinking, manage their time, and develop the independent learning skills that lead to long-term success.
I use a structured approach that begins by helping students understand the task, define what success looks like, identify any obstacles, and decide where to begin. From there, we break large projects into manageable steps, develop a realistic plan, and meet regularly to review progress, solve problems, and maintain momentum.
My students include GCSE, A-Level, IB, and university learners working on essays, research projects, coursework, dissertations, and exam preparation. I also support students who struggle with motivation, organisation, perfectionism, or simply don't know how to get started.
I bring more than 20 years of experience as a teacher, librarian, and learning specialist, working in schools and universities across the UK and internationally. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades, but to give them the confidence and learning strategies they can use long after our lessons have finished.
