had a lot of experience explaining things to others — from helping classmates understand concepts in school, to supporting my younger siblings with their learning. Through that, I’ve learned how to adapt the way I explain things depending on the person, and how to break down information in simple, step-by-step ways. This is a skill I know will be very useful when teaching French grammar, pronunciation, or new vocabulary.

My communication style is calm and clear, and I always try to make sure the person I’m helping really understands, not just memorises. I’ve developed a lot of patience and empathy from working with different people, and those qualities help me create a space where learners feel safe to ask questions and try again if they make mistakes. I know that language learning can feel frustrating sometimes, so I always bring encouragement and structure.

I also pay attention to how people learn best. Some need visual examples, some need to repeat and practice out loud, and some like real-life scenarios. I’d tailor my teaching based on what helps each student most. Whether they’re beginners or just trying to build confidence, I’d focus on building a strong foundation and helping them actually enjoy the learning process.
