I am a highly experienced musician, who has had a wonderful and long career as a singer in an Early Music Ensemble.
I have taught the PIANO now for more than 20 years, in a very creative and holistic manner, from beginner level, to Grade 8 level and beyond, if required.
I specialize in musical awareness training and am passionate about helping students understand the art of interpretation.
I also compose an abundance of music for my pupils to help them in all areas of their development.
I have composed and published a large anthology called A PIANO ODYSSEY. This is repertoire I use frequently in my sessions.
I am very patient and dedicated and I enjoy the one to one relationship dynamic with all my pupils.
Lessons are tailored made to suit each individual's capacity, and although classes are creative, flexible and non-pressured,
I am always presenting an overview of support, structure and encouragement, with strong guidance and with a quiet request for disciplined practice for the best results.
I enjoy nurturing my pupil's abilities and often times lessons with younger ones involve improvisation, musical story-telling and even singing.
I teach the VIOLIN also and am a VOCAL COACH.. I have coached pupils through all levels of the Trinity Guildhall Rock and Pop vocal exams.

From a personal perspective as a piano and keyboard player, I am passionate about Renaissance keyboard repertoire.
