I became a tutor because I’m passionate about helping children learn—especially when a traditional school environment doesn’t quite meet their needs. Tutoring gives me the freedom to tailor my teaching to each individual child, helping them learn in the way that suits them best. I’m a naturally creative person, and I love finding imaginative, engaging ways to make learning click.

My approach to teaching is patient, calm and nurturing. I take time to understand each learner as an individual, seeking out to tap into their personal interests, building trust and creating an environment where they feel safe to take risks and engage with learning. I adapt lessons creatively to meet different needs, whether that involves breaking tasks into manageable steps, using visual supports, or incorporating a child’s interests to build confidence and motivation.
