Jiwon Yun

Hi, I’m Jiwon. I am a native Korean Speaker, born and educated in Seoul, South Korea. I am currently living in Bournemouth, UK; where I teach at the Korean School.
I am a qualified Korean language teacher with over 7 years experience of teaching Korean language and culture to a wide range of ages and abilities.

I adapt my lessons to best suit individual students' abilities and their learning goals.
All aspects of language learning can be covered: Speaking, Reading, Writing, Listening, Grammar, Conversation and TOPIK Exam preparation. Homework is reviewed and feedback given.

I use various teaching materials; text books, work books, flash cards and my own class materials which includes example sentences and practices. All of my teaching materials can be used both online and in person sessions and have helped many students to improve their Korean speaking skills.

I use Zoom for online sessions and I also offer in-person teaching to students from the Bournemouth(BCP) area.
