I am a graduate in Medicine and I aim to help students with their GCSE Maths.
I will go through topics with students that they struggle with and present past paper questions based on the topic.
I will ensure the student has come in contact with every topic of their specification so that they are very acquainted with it.
The lessons can take place over Zoom calls, one-to-one private tutoring so that the student can have personalised help according to their needs. It caters to their individual needs and allows the student to have 100% attention. Also, it makes it easier to track their progress throughout the year and see where they need to improve and what topics they excel in.
As someone who had one-to-one maths tutoring myself, I can speak from experience that it helped me a lot to go through topics I struggled with, go through all past papers, and become familiar with potential questions that could come up which helped me get an A* in maths.
Before their GCSE exam, I aim to have gone through all the topics in their syllabus, all the past papers available so that the student is confident and knows how to approach each question at the time of their exam .
