Jing Wei

Hello! I’m Jing, a recent graduate from the Uni of Glasgow, and I’m from Shaanxi, China. I’ve been living in the UK for the past 5 years which helped me develop proficient English skills and strong understanding of cross-cultural communications. I enjoy helping students not just to learn the Chinese language, but also understand the history, culture, and the stories behind it—because language makes much more sense when you know the context it comes from. As a starter tutor, I am easy-going, patient, and respectful. I love creating a relaxing learning environment where students can learn in confidence!
Outside of teaching, I’m a big football fan, a music lover, and someone who enjoys cooking!
