Jiang Yuxing

I’m a native Mandarin speaker currently completing an MA in Education at King’s College London, with over 800 hours of classroom experience teaching Chinese language and culture across different age groups and contexts — including university students in Thailand, primary school pupils, and secondary-level learners in China.

My lessons are primarily aimed at beginner to intermediate learners of Mandarin — whether that’s students encountering Chinese for the first time, or those looking to build confidence in speaking and reading. I particularly enjoy working with learners who find the language daunting, and I focus on making lessons practical and culturally engaging rather than purely grammar-driven, drawing on task-based activities, storytelling, and real-life scenarios to keep students motivated.
