My lessons are designed to help A-Level Economics students build a strong understanding of economic theory and develop the skills needed for high exam performance. With a First-Class Honours degree in Economics and Finance from the University of York, and hands-on research experience in macroeconomics, labor economics, and policy evaluation, I bring both academic depth and practical clarity to my teaching.
Each session is structured around the student’s needs. I explain key micro and macroeconomic concepts in a clear, approachable way—using real-world examples, current events, and visual tools (like graphs and diagrams) to make the content come alive. I place strong emphasis on exam technique, including essay structuring, how to effectively use evaluation, and how to approach data response questions with confidence.
My goal is not just to help students memorize definitions, but to understand the economic logic behind them—whether it’s supply and demand dynamics, market failure, fiscal/monetary policy, or global trade. I also help students develop critical thinking and the ability to apply theory to unfamiliar scenarios—skills essential for top grades.
I offer tutoring in both English and Mandarin, and lessons can be conducted online for maximum flexibility.
