During my years of tertiary studies, my bachelor degree has equipped me with ample Mathematics and pedagogical knowledge that cater for different curriculum. Apart from the theoretical aspect, having tutored iGCSE, GCSE, A-level and IB learners on Core, Extended, Applied and Further Mathematics for over ten years, and having taught secondary school for over three years, I have faith that I am capable of explaining abstract concepts to students with different learning abilities.

I strive to ensure every learner truly understands the Mathematics concepts, and promotes their logical thinking and problem solving skills that can be applied in other subjects or their daily lives. My lessons include explorative hands-on activities and demonstrations with diverse online tools, such as Geogebra, Kahoot! and Nearpod, which in turn helps students consolidate their memories through interesting means. I often interact with my students with questions and motivate discussions to ensure they accurately comprehend the Mathematical theories. Even my students in less-abled classes have shown increased interests in Mathematics after years of my teaching and majority of them have shown improvement in assessments.

My experience of work as a part-time author and editor in an educational publisher in the past two years has equipped me with the ability to design teaching notes and tailor-make worksheets efficiently to cater for all levels of students with different learning diversities. My teaching materials mainly focus on the common misconceptions among students and students can learn to avoid mistakes after completing the 'Spot the Mistake' section. I have created a list of Youtube videos and Google Form assessments for my less-abled students to consolidate their concepts after class.
